i would try fall creek, summerwood(where i live so if you want info just hit me up), canyon gate at park lakes, that will give u a straight shot towards greenspoint and has so many shopping and resturants..the neighborhoods are all located right on the beltway, what i mean is when u got out of the community turn at one of the lights and you're on it...

I currently reside in the Heights & have a 2 yr old.(wife currently pregnant with #2) I am a huge fan of the cultural diversity that kids get to see growing up near an urban area, but it also needs, IMO to be tempered with the "neighborhood" feel. I definitely feel that the heights fits that bill. If you are interested in faith based education, you will not have a problem finding a quality one in the area. ( Especially since the public schools have been terrible for years...that is, if your kids can't get into a vanguard/magnet program) As Halloween was last night, we thought we would have to go to another neighborhood to trick-or-treat. We were amazed at how many children there are in our neighborhood & were happy that the blocks surrounding our house had many "lit & ready" houses for my toddler to trick-or-treat.

I wanted to recommend Fall Creek. There are lots and lots of young kids there along with stay at home moms.
Fall Creek - New Homes Houston
I think it's only 15-20 minutes from that area.
IM me if you have any specific questions.

Hi I'm from Pittsburgh but I moved to Austin 2 years ago. I really like texas. Everything is bigger here and the people are so much friendlier! You will notice! Everything is mostly new here or well kept! You will never go hungry! Every restaurant you can dream of! Foods you never heard of. LOL. Shopping centers EVERYWHERE. I go to Houston often. But I most say that it's a huge city! HUGE! I'm relocating there next year and I'm looking in the Katy, Conroe, Humble, or Sugarland area. Everything is so far apart and traffic is bad. But the good thing if you live close to your job, you don't have to travel far for anything else. Everything is at your front door!
