I thought this was supposed to be such a 'safe area' with top notch police response. Alarms and the subsequent police response should have been triggered from the home break-ins and the car alarms should have gotten some attention from the homeowners or nearby residents.

My neighbor said that the local police are planning to add more patrols at night. I hope so.

If it were my car alarm going off, I'd call the police. If he tried the house next, he'd have to deal with my Remington.

Where did you hear that? There has never been a police force available to New Territory and won't be until 2017 when their MUD bonds are paid and Sugar Land annexes it.

New Territory used to be Houston ETJ until 2001, if I recall correctly Sugar Land paid Houston $1 million to swap it over to Sugar Land ETJ.

Update: The four teenaged perpetrators were caught after someone recognized the person in the photo above. The teens are residents of New Territory. So sad.
