I am looking for a place to stay in Houston for internship this Summer (3 month). I'm a new driver, and I will be working in downtown... Any recommendations on where to look? The place should be safe, and has easy commute to downtown (drive or take bus)

Check around Medical Center - there are shorter-term lease apartments and extrended-stay hotels in that area that cater to patients and their families in town for medical stays The Metro and bus lines also run from the Medical Center to downtown.
