My Mother in law used to make them and sell them all the time. Back then she would sell them for $7.00 a dozen. Her job now does not allow her that much spare time anymore to make them on a regular basis. She would make so many amazing varieties like pork, chicken, beef, bean, jalapeño y queso. Now she only makes them at Christmas and when her favorite Son in law, me, requests them. To this day the people at both my Wife's job and my job still request her tamales by the multiple dozens.
