Those who live in or are familiar with the area around 529 and Huffmeister, what are your thoughts on the area? I have a family member thinking of moving to the area. Schools are not a concern.

529 and Huffmeister don't intersect. Huffmeister ends at Hwy 6 and is the north side of Copperfield. The 529 corridor is a sloppy mess.

Huffmeister and 529 do indeed intersect not far from the Hearthstone Country Club. My sister lives in Hearthstone, north side of 529, and she likes the convenience of all the restaurants and shopping nearby. It's a pretty, established neighborhood.

Correct. There is a segment of Huffmeister in Hearthstone. Sorry.

I know several people who live in Hearthstone and Copperfield and they love it. Like the above poster said. It's very established.

The north side of 529 in Hearthstone is a wonderful neighborhood. That is where I bought my first home. Cant say enough good things.

The area is nice and having all the shops and stores close is nice as well but the traffic is a major nightmare. Be it on a weekday coming or going to work or the weekend trying to get around. They just better have some patience.

I used to live a bit south of the 529/Huffmeister area. The neighborhoods were safe and fairly quiet. It was very convenient to shopping on Hwy6 or to get to beltway 8, I10, 290. But yes, traffic is a disaster at some of the intersections, especially 529 at 6 and Eldridge Parkway. When we were considering a move over to Copperfield, the traffic just to get onto Highway 6 was a big factor in our decision. But there are some very nice established neighborhoods around Copperfield that give you a lot of house for the money, as well as plenty of "starter" type 1980's-90's homes that are still in decent shape

My Grandfather started a business off 529 and Eldridge in 1978. I lived in Hearthstone for awhile, and have worked here at the family business for the last five years plus grew up attending CyFair schools.

It's busy, but nothing at all worth crying about, IMO. You just have to figure out how to navigate things. I lived in the Galleria area for a few years too. I didnt just get into line on Richmond and moan about it.
