My whole mouth is a mess (my own fault). Anyone have any good feedback on dentists that do full mouth reconstruction (implants, veneers, etc.) ? I've looked at some and most look like a infomercial.

I just had a root canal yesterday with Dr Paul San Marco who is an Endodontist with Greater Houston. I was impressed with his work and professionalism. I heard they have excellent specialists within the practice that do implants too. It would be worth checking them out because I believe they have an excellent reputation. Good Luck.

Rather then name Dentists. My first thought is HOW WEALTHY ARE YOU? Full reconstruction sounds like the cost of a house. Good luck my friend.

There is a company called Care Credit that gives loans for dental. Ask most any Dentist as most participate in this program.

True, the rates are about $500 a tooth for crowns/bridgework.

Thanks for the input. I have rainy-day cash to pay for this and, yes, it's gonna be low 5 figures.

I think the rates where I went were about $1000-$1400 dependent on the tooth, per root canal. The crown is more and something I think a general dentist does. My general dentist was unsure if my old crown was the new problem or another tooth right next to it, and he said if it was the old root canal/crown he would recommend pulling it and getting an implant. Luckily?? it turned out to be the tooth next to it and I had my second root canal so it wasn't the original problem. But he said if it was going to be an implant expect to apend up to $2k for that tooth and that they would extract it, then put in a titanium screw, then fill the gap with a partial temporarily and in 3-4 months when the bone healed they would add the implant. I didn't have to go that route but he told me it comes down to if you have good jaw?? bone which he said I did, but has someone said anything about yours? If it takes the bone 3-4 months to heal from one implant how do they do a bunch at once? I would think the recovery would be long and you would need live-in help.....even my root canal area is still tender after 48 hours...he said I need to baby that tooth for about a week...

I went to Dr. Brunson in Webster(based upon someone's recommendation on this board). Really liked him.

DCAdentist.com I think is the website. Good luck - I hate going to the dentist.

Can't you go to a dental school for cheaper work? Have someone going to school for dentistry perform the work. I used to hate going to the dentist but now I just fall asleep and they have to wake me up cause I'm so calm. The initial shot to numb the gums is the most uncomfortable part. But they usually numb it with some stuff that works pretty damn good.
