I am interested in hearing from anyone who currently lives in a Meritage / Monterey home.

How do you feel about the quality of their work?

How was your experience of having a home built by them?

Did you have any issues and were they resolved in fair and timely manner?

Also, my husband is questioning the spray in foam insulation... and if there are issues with the house retaining humidity.

Does anyone know how to figure a house's energy usage?

We are looking to build in Sienna Planation. I know I've asked alot of questions here, but any input would be greatly appreciated.

Speaking with people who have overviewed the whole building process in a subdivision where Meritage builds, I wouldn't recommend them. But, it all depends on the construction manager, so each subdivision is different. Best thing to do is ask the people who live in the neighborhood who see the homes get constructed every day what their thoughts are. There are more people than you would realize that are interested in the whole building process of a new home.
