I was told it is more common in patients with diabetes or thyroid issues (but they don't know why that is) but they also get patients like me that it just happens to without any other medical condition.

I was told that I fit the classic person likely to get it for no apparent reason. A woman in her 40's approaching peri menopause. It was very shocking to me since I am very athletic and have always been in good physical health. It came on slowley and then with a furry after about 3 months from the first initial symptoms.

It was a very painful and head scratching event for me. I hope it never comes back!

Im extremely fit, and have trained all my life. Mine came in suddenly from a combination of bone spur build up around and old injury, immobility in that arm from broken fingers (sports wreck again) and playing too much golf.

frustrating, but at least mine is mild. Very painful, but mild. The cortizone shot didnt hurt at all. He froze the skin, injected and put an ice bag on it. I didnt get the increasd pain like some do, I actually could sleep that night. Maybe due to the Mobis
