Prices are good, good schools and you have options to get into town with 59 and Katy Freeway both being very wide all the way into town and even having a 3rd of the Westpark. Probably the biggest driver is the Energy Corridor being close by.
Look at other parts of Houston 290 is a parking lot and narrow, 45 is a parking lot from Beltway into town on both North and South are narrow. West and into South Houston is very industrial. Middle Class families cannot afford to live inside the loop so they go to the suburbs to raise their families just like every major city. Houston just sees in on the west side the most because the infrastructure is there. Now only if we can get light rail going.......
