I need your help on how to close a house with no agents. Actually I am buying relatively a new home from one of my friend's friend in Katy, we came to some price understanding.

Can you please advice further steps to close a home with no agents?

Thanks for your help.

My first recommendation would be to get a home inspection and do a title search before forking over any cash/good faith deposit

The only person that benefits from you not having an agent is the seller since the buyer doesn't pay for representation. Typically, the seller pays the fee for the buyers agent. Most fsbo's will pay the agent fee or they risk not selling their house because 85% of buyers have agents.
Are you sure the house is worth the price you agreed on? Have you seern the tax records? Is there any known defects? What about a home warranty? This is important, what if the air conditioer breaks down soon after you move. You should definitely hire your own inspector.
You may want to get yourself and agent and tell your friend they will have to pay the agent's fee if they want to sell you the house. There are plenty of other houses you can find without the worries. Have you been pre-approved for a mortgage?
I would suggest you be careful in this transaction. There's alot of variables that are taken care of by realtors , most fsbo's eventually use a realtor, although some do successfully sell on their own. As a buyer, there is no reason not to have a realtor look out for your interests.

The answer to to your question is you'll need a title company to close and you'll have to negotiate the fees. You'll need a survey on the home which typically the seller has but if they have made any changes such as put in a pool or a storage shed, another one will have to be ordered.
The title company will tell you everything necessary to close the sale.
