I'm considering re-locating to the Houston area from out of state and am looking for some basic information/suggestions on choosing a place to live. I would prefer a safe area with a good school system, outdoor recreation, and decent nightlife/restaurants. Any thoughts?

I have read in the threads that you cannot go wrong with Katy or Cypress..both have beautiful neighborhoods and great Schools....the number one suggestion from many who live in texas is to find employment first...once you land employment ...then you establish residence..bc the commute is horrific...hope i helped some!
