My little sister need to schedule an appointment for her road test , but the DPS office near our house told us we need to wait until July for our appointment . Is there any DPS office in Houston or near Houston that have walk-in appointment or next day appointment ?

I don't think so. We drove all the way out to the DPS in Columbus, TX (45 minutes west of Katy) and got an appointment 3 weeks later. I love Texas, but this DPS system is in dire need of a rehaul.

The one on the Island is super easy to get in and out if you go early. No appointment.
