We live in Katy but are looking to build again in the next year or two, and I'm interested in The Woodlands because, call me crazy, I like TREES. I've been trying to find feedback online about Creekside Park, and the schools: Creekside Forest, Tomball JH, and Tomball HS.

There are surprisingly few reviews of any use. Moreover, I would like to know if there is local talk of this area being zoned to new schools or whatever. I am looking as a mom for something academically above par but also perhaps smaller and less politically-charged than our current district. I hate to see neighbors fighting and staring petitions and websites over every little thing, and I don't like the walking-on-eggshells approach that comes from the constant threat of lawsuits. Less test-focused would be a plus, but not a deal breaker.

Any other feedback on the area from parent types would also be appreciated. We have four young kids, we like the outdoors, we're lightly crunchy.

Thanks!

I live in a neighborhood near Creekside Park - we do go there often for the beautiful parks, pools, etc. I have heard A LOT of mixed thoughts on actually living there. It's all "neighborhood gossip," if you will, so I'm not sure the truth behind all that is said. If you want to message me I'll share

We are in Klein ISD, but Tomball ISD backs up to our neighborhood - I have heard good things about the school district, but don't have much on details, sorry!
