Is this a good time to buy in Florida? Specifically Destin, FL. The wife is itching to buy a condo in Destin and I have no idea where to start. This will be like an investement / vacation / rental type of property. We own places all over the world and it worked out very well for us. But we have nothing in US except our residence here in Sugar Land so our experience in US is very limited.....

Great idea. Perfect time to buy as everything in Florida has bottomed out. Plus, Destin has a lot of military so you wouldn't have much trouble renting it out.
