Okay I am looking to replace GU9 halogens in a light fixture with tiny CFL's with a GU9 base or even LED's. Can't find them anywhere but I can order them online from China or the UK..... Does anyone know if there are any stores in Houston that may carry these bulbs -- distance doesn't matter -- just as long as it is in Houston.

cant remember the name of it but there used to be, and I imagine still is a lighting store on westheimer near the neon curve. It had a really obvious name like "the lighting store" or something similar to that, because of where they are I imagine they carry a lot of foreign stuff. Hope that gets you on the right track.

Gu9's? I can find the G10 but not the GU9 and have looked everywhere retail that I can think of including Lowes. Will call the places that the other have mentioned.

:-( I was so hopeful that the other two stores mentioned might have it but a quick search of their sites doesn't show any but shows all the others. I found it either in UK or China. And I really don't care to use my credit card on unknown sites in foreign countries. I wonder why they have them but I can't find them here?

There is a small light bulb store on Bay Area Blvd in Webster next to Angelo's Italian restaurant; maybe they have it.
