I'll take the opposite opinion, I spend all my time IN the house, the neighborhood is just a place I drive through to get somewhere else.

You can't practically change a floor plan you don't like. For example, we love Grand Lakes (phase 4)....but 90% of the houses on the market have 1 story family rooms.....feels like a damn cave. We want a BIG volume where we spend the most family time (kitchen and family room). And you can't change that....ugh

Hi LML1919, I'm actually in the same boat as you were in the past. How is your Travis Home holding up. We were also planning on building in the Chancel too. What are your experiences w/ the builders and the community. I'm planning to walk around the neighborhood and talk to neighbors too, but just wanted to get the most insight possible. Thanks in advance!
