I can't tell how big that hole is, but could it have been made by an armadillo? We had one in our yard not too long ago.

That's what I was thinking. Small hole...maybe a frog. Big hole...probably an armadillo.

When I was a kid, there used to be all those crawdad holes with the mud around them ..... I haven't seen one of those in YEARS - what happened to them?
