Hey people how is it going I live in the caribbean and my loving would like to move to houston because she really like it here but I'm really new at this I've lived in the caribbean all my life can you tell me where is the best place to live in terms of apartments that is low cost lets say about $700 and public transport oh yeah I must include safety because i have a beautiful daughter who is a year old so I'm new to this and i would really like some help.....

Could you tell us your occupations so that we know where you're likely to find employment. Since your daughter is so young, you'll have plenty of time to get used to Houston before she starts school.

I don't know that you're going to find anything nice and safe for your price range. As far as public transportation is concerned, you will need a car in Houston.

There is work available in Houston for you and your Honey in Houston, due to an abundance of construction and the many different school districts.

But unfortunately Houston is like any other major city in terms of renting however if you can afford to buy, it's very affordable. Just as an example when we first moved here, we rented a 2bedroom/2bath apartment which was gated with manned security. The rent was $950.00 per month, 3rd floor unit, not including utilities and that was 2 years ago.

Thank you very much if that is the price then i have to spend it because i always believe family safety first but i need some ideas of safe places that have access to public transport...atleast for the mean while until i get familiar with the place to buy something..
