Some people seem to really like Windy City pizza across from Culvers on Atascocita. We ate their once and was glad to support local business but we thought it was just okay. We actually prefer to drive downtown and go to Barrys.

I'm one of the Windy City Pizza fans (never had Barry's). And every single single time my family comes to visit, we have to get pizza from there at their request. It's Chicago style pizza, and I think it's really really good.

I also like Sarpino's (the special or gourmet ones) but it's a chain restaurant. Their 5 cheese pizza is my favorite (simple, but yummy).

An FYI on Windy City's owner - he works his a$$ off at that restaurant!! He grew up in Kingwood and loves the area. He works a day job, as does his wife and they live in the Cypress area. He drives every day after work over to Atascocita to work at his restaurant until it closes!! So yes, I support his business whenever I can...not to mention I love his food.

I was pretty surprised how good Sarpino's pizza was when I tried it. I figured it was crappy chain pizza. There is also Zamitti's in Kingwood which is overall a pretty good restaurant.

I would say Sarpino's but I have not tried every pizza possibility in the area.

I've never been to WIndy City, but J.Christophers (the one on Northpark) has my vote.

I like Windy City too, but was shocked at how pricey it was.

When you have to carry out their large deep dish Chicago style with 2 hands because it's so heavy (seriously, not kidding)....it's like buying 5 *regular* pizzas somewhere else!
