Hi,

What's a good hotel near the Downtown or Galleria area that is no more than $100/ night. I'm looking for something that is 3 stars or more.

Thanks!

Going to be hard to find a hotel in the areas you want at that price that are good. However, I think you might be able to get Club Quarters in that range -- and it's decent and in the downtown area.

Use Priceline.com name your own price. Great way to save a lot of money. I got a hotel room for half price in NYC using it.

The dates will determine the rates you can get.

The best deal in the Galleria area you can find for under $100 per night (usually, again need dates) will be
DoubleTree Suites Hilton. It's on Westheimer, 1 block from the Galleria Mall.

Also, check Hotel Derek on Westheimer and 610.

Good luck.

You'll spend a 100 just at the bar at ZAZA.

Check chain hotels, they sometimes run specials under $100/night. Check in Expedia or other travel sites. THere is a LaQuinta on Hwy 59 near Wesleyan...not in Galleria *****, but close. Other potential options are Homewood Suites or Marriott hotels on Sage Road.

Thank you...My dates are mid October. Is the new Westin really nice? That one was $95/ night on Orbitz. I also heard the Sheraton in the Galleria area is nice?

I second the suggestion to use Priceline and/or Hotwire. You can get an idea of what people are getting and what they are paying at betterbidding.com. I got the Hilton Americas in downtown once for $55/night.
