Never thought I'd be happy to see 90* but I is. And likely rain from Wednesday thru Sunday.

I guess you know you've somewhat acclimated to Houston when temps in the 80's actually feel "cool". I'll be happy to be in the 90s. Hope this cool front takes us out of the 100s 'til next season.

I know some people in Michigan who b i t ch and moan when the temps get to the higher 80's, and if in the low 90s, they go crazy and violence rates increase.

Same goes for Houston when the temps drop in to the 50-60s.

We just got back from Michigan. It was beautiful a perfect 75-80 degrees- but yes, some we spoke with thought that was too hot.

Perspective, I guess. It was 109 when we returned yesterday so yeah, 75-80 was a happy break.

And I will believe the rain when I see it!

I use to like cooler temperatures. But, I find that 80 - 85 degree weather suits me just fine. I give the credit to weight lose. Although, I wouldn't mind 75 degrees. Once it gets into the 60's, then I think it is a little to cool. Every time I go on yahoo's homepage, they think I am from Indianapolis. So I see the weather there, and it is always in the 70's.

So happy we're not going to see more of those triple digits!!! Can't wait for my "perfect" temps of 65 degrees later in Nov/Dec, but for now upper 80's and 90's will do just fine.

I just left a school where I was talking to a younger department head who moved into a nice little house in Jersey Village this weekend. Her and her husband didn't have a lot of things and have no kids so the husband insisted they not hire movers.

Divorce proceedings start tomorrow at noon.

Okay, not really, but let's just say children probably aren't in their future anytime soon.
