Mine's usually about $15-20 a month. One bedroom (715 sq ft). I live in a newer complex (built in 2009). Full-size washer and dryer and don't take very long showers.

It is best that you check with the apartment in the area you're planning to live.

Strange, we pay about $18-25 every 2 months for a 4 bedroom house, 2 adults and a toddler in Clear Lake.

In a 1 bedroom apt in the TMC it was actually more-- about $15/mo and I had my own washer & dryer. We didn't have to pay any for any common lawn watering IIRC. That was several years ago; nowadays I'd say the bill would be closer to $20/mo.

I don't know what to tell you except that's what he told us. My mom lived with him for awhile and confirmed that too.

Nevertheless, the chart at the link you've given showed the different water rate in different location in Houston and its suburb. My parents have friend living in SW area, near Bellaire, and their water bills are high too.

Therefore, it's best to pick an area that the OP wants to live; then, check the water rate in that area. Houston is a large city!
