My fiance and I are moving from South Carolina to Houston for probably a year, and we need advice of where to live because neither of us have ever been there.

My job is on Rogerdale rd area and our priority is to be close to this area. With a budget of about 1000 dollars does any one have some suggestions of where we might end up? Preferably safe neighborhood good for two young professionals with a lot going on.

Thanks for the help

There are a lot of nice apartments in Westchase you can chose from. If I was going to live in Westchase I'd probably pick one of the apartments bordering Royal Oaks.
