I watch foreign movies in movie theaters, and foreign movies on TV on channels where they show such. It made me very sad when the termination of lease suddenly shut Angelica film center. I was a regular there. Can't wait to see it re-opened again.
The subtitles do not bother me, but I am even more delighted when I catch a movie in a foreign language I understand.
Ditto. Yes, definitely yes. There are lot's of other cultures that have great movies, etc. Or news/new programs for a change.

Feel free to explain what "dominate" is supposed to mean.

I want to learn "more" chinese. And would love to have captions, even in pinyin in the chinese channel.

Univision, Channel 45, already has English subtitles in closed caption number 2 or 3 for those who do not understand Spanish. Y'all should check it out. it makes the novelas even more interesting.

FYI, dominate is not the same as majority.

The majority of people in South Africa are black,
still, they don't "dominate" South Africa (control or have power)

I watch all my anime with subtitles. I would watch Chinese or Japanese programs with subtitles. I've been here almost a year but I haven't really watched TV (I download any program I want to watch). What channels are non-English, non-Spanish in Houston?
