On a Saturday morning? I make the drive to San Antonio very often and usually am one of the slower drivers on I-10 (cruise control right at 70). Takes me about 3.5 hours to get out across Houston, out of Katy, and to SA. Google Maps projects about 4.5 hours to Dallas. How is the 45 North drive? Can you do 75mph? Thanks!

It takes us about 4.5 hours to get from Webster (Clear Lake) to Dallas when there is sporadic traffic. The speed limit does not go up to 75, but nobody will stop you for that. Well, except for maybe 1 or 2 little speed trap towns, but just watch for everybody braking on the interstate haha.

Yep, it takes me 4 hours. It's the most boring drive ever, so bring an audiobook or something.
