Any other readers out there with a Samsung front loader with the Activfresh (aka Silvercare) feature. I know this feature lets you wash clothes and sanitize them in a cold wash cycle. But do I have to make sure the temperature of the water is set to cold?
For example, on the washer if I choose a Permanent Press cycle, the temperature defaults to warm and you are unable to change the temperature setting. If I want to use Activfresh on this cycle, would Activfresh trigger the use of the cold water, or would it run with the warm water. Does it make sense to use Activfresh in a warm water cycle?
Or is Activifresh basically something I should just use when I am doing cold wash cycles?
I called customer support, she was nice, but basically read me the manual which doesn't clarify this.
