we have the swiffer thing it makes it sticky....and I have a Mr. Clean mom, and I feel that it doesnt clean it well..Is it best for me to get a steam cleaner.bc later we are planning to put hardwood floors in the house....

My builder told me to clean my tile floors with a mixture of warm water and vinegar. I've used it for years and it cleans well and never leaves a film or any stickiness. And the vinegar doesn't hurt the grout either.

I liked using Lysol.
Right now I use ammonia because the people that lived here before used wax all the time. So everytime I mop now, I get more of the dirt and grime they left behind up.

I really like Pledge Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner. It can be used on tile, hardwood, and vinyl. Works great and smells nice too.

Ditto on this for me. Works great and I don't have to worry about chemicals with my dogs.

What about the smell of vinegar and water? Or do you use just a little
