My current house I have lived in for one year, five months...and nine days.
The previous house, just under nine years, and the house before that (which I grew up in), a few weeks shy of 20 years.
Almost 15 years...passed very quickly...designed it myself and had it built. I've been lucky with no major repairs or maintenance but that'll likely be starting!
This is our 2nd house. We lived in our first for 5 years and then moved 500 miles south. We've been in this house for 7 years. I'd love to move on now, but my oldest doesn't want to move and she seems to have my husband on her side. I'm ready to downsize and get a shorter commute. At the most we'll live here another 8 years until our youngest goes to college. After that, I am all about a little 2 bedroom condo or townhouse, preferably in a city where I don't have to drive a car. I like change.
Mainline Mommy, is that Mainline Phila? Worked there when I first got married and hubby worked there for 20 years.
In September, it will be 5 years in our current house. Love it here.

22 years, 3rd house, maybe another 5-6 more here before we retire and downsize. Previous homes were 7 years and 8 years.
