I have radiant baseboard heat, gas fired and love it. It is quiet, efficient and cheaper than forced air. I live in the Midwest and the only draw back to this type of system is twice a year, when it first gets cold and when it first gets warm (I'm talking about the weather). It doesn't pay to turn it on for a little while as it takes time to do it's thing.
