No need to double post. It's not going to get you responses any quicker. Umm... did you think about the starter perhaps? If you can reach the starter, see if you can knock it with a hammer, wrench, anything you can reach it with. If it starts after yuo knock on it, you know it's the starter.

If it only clicks, the starter is not cranking the engine. If the headlights and wipers come on and work regular strength, then it's the starter. If they don't, then it's the battery.

This is what I found on MSN autos

A common problem on this vehicle is failure of the Distributor, and occasional problems are failures of the Igniter and the Intake Manifold. Failure of the Igniter or the Distributor may prevent the vehicle from starting. The cost to repair the Distributor is estimated at $413.00 for parts and $52.00 for labor. The cost to repair the Igniter is estimated at $82.00 for parts and $45.50 for labor. The cost to repair the Intake Manifold is estimated at $246.00 (DX and LX models) or $420.00 (EX models) for parts and $227.50 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

Default wont start/one click, new post

ok mine is now doing the same thing...i have full power:lights, door beep, overhead and dash lights, but when i turn the key i get one solid click. could it have anything to do with the ignition itself or maybe the clutch doesnt know its engaged??? im a girl, so i need suggestions. for a couple days my ignition was giving me trouble like i had the wrong key or something. if i have all power, can i push start it??
