We have a Lexus RX and are seriously considering the Acura MDX. We need a bigger car to accommodate our family. The MDX seems to have everything we need/want except push button ignition. Any feedback would be great!

Oh wow... I thought the MDX did have the push button start but after checking the Acura site, I guess I was wrong.
However, I believe they will redesign the MDX for 2014. Considering this, you should be able negotiate a pretty good deal on the 2013.

It is going to be weird using keys again! We need the bigger car within the next month. Otherwise, I would wait for the 2014. Keys....what r keys?

Infinity cars are a bit pricier from what we researched. The Acura would be a financial lateral move from the RX.

Both the MDX and JX AWD start around $43k.

I haven't driven the JX but I did take a look at the 2013 Pathfinder. Although I was impressed, my personal choice would be the MDX. But damn that keyless option! It may sound so insignificant but I don't think I could go back to the keys.

Not too much info has been released for 2014 MDX yet and probably won't know until Jan in Detroit. But from the spy photos, the 2014 MDX looks like a bigger 2013 RDX.

The keys are killing me.... Our hope is that we get a great deal on the 2013 because the 2014 will have the push button.

We are also looking at the Audi.

Are you sure you actually use the key in the MDX? My mother's Acura has a key, but you just carry it with you, you don't actually put it in the dash and turn it. There's a knob on the dash you turn to start the car.

Just get an aftermarket key less option?
My wife wanted a key less option on our 08 accord and the dealership installed it!
Ask Your sales Rep at The Acura dealership.

Most of the Acuras have push button. The mdx does not. Spoke to dealer today about it. According to dealer and pp, Acura may make an announcement in Detroit next month about changes to the 2014 model.
