I plan to replace carpet in my upper floor CONDO with laminate or engineered hardwood, and came across the Roberts Harmony 3-in-1 Underlayment at Home Depot. Seems to be the only premium underlay they have. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this specific underlayment? Would you recommend it? Since I am upper floor I am most concerned about reducing sound experienced by people below me, as well as helping to reduce that hollow sound people say about laminate/Eng HW. Thanks for your help!

We just put down some HW floor in both our family and living rooms and used this underlayment.
I have nothing to compare it to but I will say that it was easy to put down and "seems" to be doing a good job.

How soon you looking to start with all this?
I ask because you can buy this underlayment at Amazon for the half the price.
Of course I sure do wish I would have known about this *before* I bought it at HD.

Do you have a Lumber Liquidators near you? They sell some underlayment as well
that gets some really great reviews.
