I found this article interesting. I think you'll enjoy the "brass" bathtub! (I mean it looks like copper, not brass!) But the trends are interesting.
I don't view articles like this to be prescriptive. I don't have to use the ideas. But these could be things that will filter down to ordinary folk in a few years. It might mean that in some cases we will have choices we haven't had before. It might mean that we simply ignore the change and carry on. But it is nice to see pretty pics.
Let's see-
Definition of "trend":
1. The general direction in which something tends to move.
2. A general tendency or inclination.
Nope; don't see any of that. What I do "see" is interior designers trying something "different" hoping that it will appeal to the masses. That's what I'd call "suggestive marketing". If it works, the designer and the suppliers are all giddy.
Most of those pictures had a "set" feel to them- not real at all.
This is the same old stuff we've seen going on in the last few years. I'll return later to comment on a few i did like but from what I saw, most of the pics show things that are boring, overdone, or just plain ugly.
The indoor - outdoor one was the worst. I thought I would get treated to some snazzy outdoor furniture or water feature. Instead, I thought it was a shot of a workshop at Disney land or some kiddie Story Book Land.
