Has anyone come back from shopping to discover that your mother in law ripped all your curtains down, cut some shorter, and put them up in different rooms with strange draping effects because "I hope you don't mind, but ever since coming over I've been burning for you to step out so I could fix these ugly things."
Ring ring. Ring ring......Hello, Department of Mental Health, I have a Mother in Law who I believe needs a mental evaluation. Do you pick up or shall I deliver her?
LOL to everyone here, in retrospect I probably did not need to post in this forum, I was just browsing this forum for ideas on how to fix the dang curtains.
Perhaps I will call the mental dept!
Well, many years ago my inlaws came for a visit and babysat while my husband and I were out for 3 or 4 hours. While we were gone, she rearranged my living room and dining room, brought in a hutch and sideboard from the garage that I told her I didn't have room for, and rearranged all the art on the wall. I was inwardly a little upset but had to admit things did look better.
However, cutting your drapes up? That is over-the-top not acceptable.
