The Montreal defense is smaller than that of Boston and is a little banged up......with the size of the Flyer forwards and the aggressive forecheck system of Laviolette Montreal is going to have to adjust to get the puck out of their end quicker otherwise the pressue from the forecheck is going to continue to make the Montreal defense to make mistakes. The frustration and resulting penalities indicated Montreal had no answers for this aggressive forecheck in game one. If Montreal doesn't adjust this could get ugly quick.

Wrong again.......back in October many experts in the hockey world predicted the Flyers to win the Cup based upon the team roster at the time. However.....I don't think they would have predicted this particular path to the Cup should they indeed win it.
The Flyers were not supposed to make they playoffs According to whom ? The only issue that brought doubt into the Flyers making the playoffs were injuries to key players otherwise they were picked by everyone with hockey expertise to not only make the playoffs but go deep in the playoffs.
The Flyers got in the playoffs the last game of the season As did many other teams.....its called parody.
The Flyers were not expected to do anything in the playoffs and surprised everyone when beating the Devils The Flyers beat the Devils 5 games to 1 in the regular season series....why would you expect them not to beat the Devils in the playoffs ?
The Flyers was down 3-0 and came back to beat the Bruins The Flyers got Leighton back in goal and were a much better team because of that.
So now that the season hasn't already been a success anything that happens now is just a BONUS!!
