I don't know about that.....the Canadiens will be tough to beat and if we do get around them I think Chicago had a regular season winning record against the Sharks 3 - 1 ? It may be a Philly - Chicago Cup final ?
So you are telling me a Flyers Fan can still be proud of coming back from down 0-3 if they don't win it all?
Sure I'm a Flyers fan and the ultimate goal of any team is to win the championship..... but.....what kind of fan are you if you know your team played its heart out and fell short and not be proud of the effort put forth against difficult circumstances and injuries to core players. 32 teams start out every October in search of a championship.......we're now in the final 4......there are 28 other teams that would give their left arm to be where we are right now, even with our injuries. What kind of fan abandons his loyality and support to a team because despite of a valiant effort they didn't win the Cup ? If fans followed your way of thinking 31 teams would have no fans after the Cup was won each year

I mentioned the same thing about the regular season v Chicago and the reply I got was.... the Sharks had a losing record against Detroit in the regular season and won the series 4-1. So, not sure how much the regular season between the teams will mean in the playoffs.

Well......I guess its just one of those statistics that you throw into the mix of predicting a winner....is it the ultimate statistic.......no....but it can't be discounted either......for example.....the Flyers handled the Devils in the regular season 5 games to 1 and in the playoffs 4 games to 1. Regular season statistics must have "some" bearing.
I still can't believe the Flyers came back from trailing 0-3 to the Bruins. Awesome game yesterday! We have to still take the 1 game at a time approach.
6 Flyers scored last night...That is amazing!!
