So far so good for my Islanders and I know Rick DP is supposed to be back soon so why don't we dump Biron to some other team and bring in a scorer?A front line scorer might be the only thing keeping us out of the playoffs and the way Dwayne Roloson is playing we definitely don't need Biron.Thoughts?

it was obvious that Biron or Roloson would be trade bait. Both of them. But with Roloson playing good then Biron would probably be traded. Plus Buffalo is possibly considering bringing him back to Buffalo. Just because of our backup goalie problems.

Everyone anticipated Biron would be the one to go but we need to take advantage of it now rather then waiting for later.A solid scorer would be our best option in a trade.

They're obviously not that great if they lost to the Flyers, who are arguably playing the worst hockey in the NHL right now...

Any team can beat any other for 1 game. The flyers just used the power of Laviolette.Very underrated coach.I still dread the day my organization let him go,and eventually did the same to Ted Nolan.

The Isles have been inconsistent to be honest, they win one, lose two and so on. At this point in the season they are in a good spot in the standings, but must not let points at home get away. I'm old school, I would ride Roloson (he is the hot goalie) as much as possible and spot DP's starts to bring him along slowly and definitely look for a sniper to help in the second half.

Good minds think alike.I know they want Ricky back in net butI too would ride it out with Roloson. He has been the most key player this year for us. I would try to get rid of Biron now for a scorer and see where that takes us.
