Didn't I see a post where you hoping that Crosby would get hurt?

You got your wish? And the Pens still won...

Just what did Bettman do to help the Pens?

what a crappy game from detroit. they looked like it was their first ever playoff game.

well deserved win for the penguins, congratulations!

GM and chrysler are bankrupt, the lions are 0-16, the redwings lose a stanley cup game seven at home and eminem is still allowed to make music. wtf is going on in detroit?

Great game, great series.
Kudos to Detroit fans for showing class and cheering (except for Bettman of course) especially when Mario raised the cup.

Congrats to the Pens......made possible by 4 ex Islanders
Good job Guerin, Satan, Fedotenko, and Goddard

Gonna be having serious withdrawl symtoms now!

so much for hockey. pittsburgh is classless. the worst fans, and malkin is probably the biggest jerk in hockey. I think for me, hockey just went the way of the NFL, MLB, and the NBA. the NHL gift wrapped a cup for golden boy. sad. probably the worst cup finals I have ever seen. as for this statement:

um, how about moving the series up a week knowing that the wings would be without their best player and relying on their minor league team. how about malkin not getting the automatic suspension for his cheap shot on zetterberg in game 2.

no excuse for the crappy games detroit played the last two games, but face it, this cup was handed to the penguins. there is still only one hockeytown.

The cup was not handed to the Pens. The NHL only made it easier for them. Detroit had 2 games to put them away and failed. Drat it! They didn't give it their all in either game until it was too late. This series should have ended in 6. Ifeel bad for Ozzy who kept them in both games. He had a great playoffs and deserved to win it. Now, no one will remember how good he played in all 4 series.

Congrats to the Pens. They've earned it.

I'm glad the fans were cheering...although there were quite a bit of Pens fans there. Could you hear during the game the back and forth chants of "Let's Go Red Wings" and then you'd hear "Let's Go Pens!". That bit made me sad because the state of Michigan's economy you know how many Wings fans would have liked to be there to see it. It's just not feasible there for so many fans and families.

Glad you're such a real fan of the game. Everybody else is saying it's one of the best finals (and playoffs) ever. It's ok. The wagon has stopped. You can hop off without hurting yourself.
