For my money it's Henrik Zetterberg, although I'm biased because I watch every game he plays as a Wings fan. Still, no serious hockey fan can deny his two way prowess, plus his faceoff and special teams abilities, which make him invaluable to the Detroit squad. He is unquestionably one of the top 10 players in the world right now. He's got a big contract coming this year, that's for sure!

Under 30? That's a huge chunk of the league. What position?

Ovetchkin, Crosby, Malkin are all under 25.

Iginla is only 31 along with Thornton.

Phaneuf or Green on defense

I would say A.O. However, there are a LOT of great players under 30.

I'll say Ovechkin as well. I feel lucky every time I get to watch him play. What a player!

datsyuk is the best 2 way player at 30 yrs old... but ovechkin is the best talent... heavy hitter, solid skater, and goal scorer...

Been watching the Center Ice package. Ovechkin looks like the man...I dont think he is 25 yet. Sid the kid is very good but doesnt have the overall game of AO. The Hawks have a couple guys who could develop.
