I think the win in game 7 will allow Torts to keep his job, kinda bittersweet. I feel like he may have lost the team a bit the last 2 years. I think they may need to hear a new voice. And that voice should stop treating Kreider like a yo-yo! Let the kid develop, everyone can't be Callahan! But they could learn a thing or 2 from him!
Hank's gonna have to keep playing lights-out because Boston is going to be very tough. Coming back from 3 goals down in the 3rd period is ridiculous. I remember they scored two very late goals against the Rangers earlier this year to tie the game (luckily, the Rangers won in OT). Never count them out.
Hopefully they will come up with a way to score on a PP. 2 goals in their last 38 PP's is pitiful. Rangers need to stay out of the box and capitalize on Boston's mistakes
I'm not so sure if Tortorella's job is safe after the season. We have had a horrible power play all season and it is not the players, its the scheme. Also, we have had so many breakdowns in coverage. I think that this is a result in Tort's complicated system. We have plenty of talent on the team and we need a coach who will bring out the best in his players. Tort's isn't that guy.
