now that they have mostly gone away from paper tickets all together, it seems that the sidewalk scalper has been by-passed in favor of the computer aided ticket broker who swoops in, buys up all the tickets they want and sells the tickets for pretty much whatever they want for them.

Ticket prices will not go down until there's a decrease in demand. No one will be selling tickets at a loss. Vegas is a hot ticket. Buzz is still strong.
