The Penguins/Rangers series is getting spread out like an NBA series. The series started last Wednesday and it's only game 3?? Same game as the Preds/Ducks and that series started a full 2 days later on Friday!

Huge win last night!

Ducks up 3-0 after 2 periods in Nashville. Assuming the Preds don't put up a 3 spot in the 3rd (and in games 1 & 2 they only scored 3 goals in each game and I don't think more than 2 in any 1 period, so it's looking pretty good for a Ducks win) that'll make Pacific division opponents 0-5 at home and 4-0 on the road. Maybe the Ducks should just play games 5 & 7 in Nashville and not leave Tennessee until next week??

Blues win tonight against the Hawks. Will try to close them out in St. Louis on Thursday.

Congrats! I know how much this means to the Blues. If the Kings don't beat the Sharks, this might be the year that teams like the Blues/Sharks finally get over the hump and take out their division rival.

Kings and Hawks, winners of 5 of the last 6 Cups, are both one game away from being eliminated in the first round. Insanity.

That's exactly the way I want it. Both of them eliminated will be awesome! Let the Caps, the Blues, or the Sharks have it this year.

Not a Kings fan, but I do like Panarin a lot, and would not complain at all if he hoisted the cup in his first season. Without him, there is no way Kane would have gotten 106 points.

And without Kane, Panarin probably doesn't do what he did, but as a line those two with Anisimov had a great season. Too bad that hasn't translated into the playoffs. The old saying is that your best players need to be your best players and the Hawks haven't gotten much from any of them.

Since the Hawks 12 game winning streak ended they've been pretty mediocre. Everyone's expected them to flip the playoff switch but that hasn't happened. I do give credit to the Blues, but the Hawks haven't really played their caliber of playoff hockey. If the Hawks win tonight maybe they put some doubt in St. Louis and can come back and steal the series. It's not likely, but entirely possible.

Tampa Bay closes out Detroit 4 games 1. Pittsburgh has pushed the Rangers to the brink of elimination and Anaheim and Nashville are now tied at 2 games a piece.
