Total class act, consummate professional. Good luck in your retirement, Nick. I'm sure he will slide right into a postion in the Wings front office, then on to the HOF.
I am happy to see Lidstrom retire. Not because I want to see him go but because he knows his time has come and has chosen to accept it and not be in denial like Brett Favre or any athlete that refuses to believe he can no longer compete at the same level anymore.
Nick Lidstrom has cemented his place in history in Detroit. Howe, Yzerman and Lidstrom. A true legend.
