I was shopping at Target earlier tonight and was shocked to see O-Pee-Chee NHL cards in the card section. I cannot recall the last time I saw O-Pee-Che cards. The cards are great and old school style. Dull card stock and not the overpriced glossy style that has been the norm for so long.

Makes me wish I had a kid I could turn on to card collecting. It would be a lot of fun.

do they still come with the rock hard stick of bubblegum that loses it flavor pretty much right away?

I Remember collecting both Upperdeck and O-Pee-Che in the late 80's early 90's.. I still have my old collection somewhere in the attic.

O-pee-chee is canadian so you don't always see them in the states. I think Upper Deck owns them now.

Upper Deck came out in 1989 and if you have the Ken Griffey Jr card, you are in good shape. Hold on to that one,I did.
