Health. It's the only reason why the Penguins didn't win the Stanley Cup this year.

You didn't win the Cup because you blew a 3-1 lead in round 1. You also would have had to beat Washington, Boston, and Vancouver.

Washington's a paper tiger until proven otherwise. A healthy Pittsburgh team is more complete than a healthy Boston team. Vancouver lacks the mental and intestinal fortitude necessary to win a championship, whereas Pittsburgh has already been there and done that. As for Tampa Bay, if they needed all seven games to beat Pittsburgh without Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, then their chances of doing it with Crosby and Malkin are infinitesimal at best.

I fully expect Tampa to focus on signing Florida's Tomas Voukoun, in order to obtain a strong , YOUNGER goalie than their current goalie, Dwayne Roloson..

If they do, they'll be very, very strong..

Sharks trade Setoguchi to the Wild for Burns, only one day after signing him (Setoguchi) to a 3-year deal..

I think that Setoguchi will retract all the nice things that he said about the Sharks; management; a lack of trust in general managers will be first and foremost in his mind from now on....

yeah - timing really sucks, and for seto he has to be angry .... his signed a pretty reasonable deal in part i'm sure because he was on a contening team with coaches, teamates and a city he was comfortable with

pretty hefty price to pay - seto is streaky, but he can score, has the right attitude to it and is still developing .... I like coyle as well, although he is a couple years off ...... burns is someone that can really help the team, but he can be inconsistent as well and he's unrestricted after this year

could be one of those that works out nice for both teams or it could end up being a bad move for SJ

Surprising moves by Philly. Gutting your centers (Richards and Carter) for younger and cheaper kids (and less experienced) and giving a huge DiPietro like contract to Ilya Byzgalov.

Flyers sign Bryzgalov to 9-year, $51 million deal

Skinner wins the Calder and the Canes pick up his former teammate from Kitchener Ryan Murphy with the 12th pick. I like.

But also cut the cancer from the locker room. That's the word around here...

Flyers made out good on both deals if you look at them closely enough.
