have been to gp, tried several antibiotics. have tried heartburn medicine. went to ent had a vallecullar cyst removed, this cured a lump feeling i had but not the red throat. went to a different ent, he scoped me and said my vocal cords were healthy but my throat was red as far down as he could see. he doubled my omeprazole. my throat is worse at night than in the am, i was also tested for strep and mono, and blood work done, all good. this has been going on for 3 months, no changes that i can think of as far as allergies go, i have tried zyzal and it did not work. i am attaching a pic.

If that was on the outside of your body, I would guess some kind of allergic or sensitive reaction. No clue other than that. Sorry!

if I had to venture a guess I would say allergic reaction to something too.
Certain things, seasonally, make my throat raw........like Oak trees blooming, the smell of colognes/perfumes,etc.
I take a bunch of benadryl and use a saline solution in the nose.

Something in your bed perhaps, or something going on while you are sleeping?

Do you snore?

Maybe you wash your bedding in something you're allergic to?

Or dust mites maybe.
