They was so discomforting last night, that I had to get up for an hour.
It didn`t matter what position I put myself in laying in bed. It seemed to feel better when I was walking around.

I`ve heard that works! I`ll give it a try tonight.
I guess I`m just sharing, but if anyone else has this happen, maybe they can share their stories as well. it was just a constant pain.
Sucks getting older....

From my very first period, I had horrible cramps. I finally was given prescription pain relief. Then at age 44, I was told I had a uterus full of fibroid tumors and that was the likely cause. That doctor thought they grew slowly and been there all along. I had a hysterectomy shortly thereafter, for an ovarian tumor. Never been so glad of a surgery!

Thermacare heat packs that stick to your underwear work wonders for me! I've been using them for the last year on my worst day. You can wear up to 8 hours I think .

Get them at walgreens or walmart

I had bad cramps through my entire menstruating life from age 12 on...aspirin did nothing, Midol did nothing, in the 80s they gave me muscle relaxers that helped some, but mostly made me stoned and want to sleep. Advil was the most help for me. Also, if you happen to drink a lot, that seems (or in my case) to exacerbate the problem. I'm in perimenopause now, my cycles are very light. It's a relief. Every month was several days of a crampy horror.

Try two Aleve and a heating pad when you are home. Thermacare and Aleve when at work. Also, if you get headaches, have caffeine such as a real coke or pepsi.

I have read that getting enough magnesium in your diet or your daily vitamin helps too.

I used to have bad cramps and the worst bloating ever! For the past 4 months, I have a banana for breakfast everyday(usually not on weekends). I have not had any bloating, swelling and cramps are barely there. They say potassium works well for this and I have to agree. It's been wonderful. Hope you feel better.

Hey sweetie, I have pretty bad cramps too..nausea, headache, bloat/water weight, the works! It sucks but there is hope I usually take 2 Midol (Menstrual Complete) or 2 Advil & that usually does the trick...also if you have a tummyache, you can drink Sprite/Ginger Ale & the bubbly fizz will help if u have nausea/cramps...Good luck, being a woman can suck sometimes...
