So we all started out as a "beautiful semi-transparent, golden child". No racial issues there! The fact that life starts out from an egg/sperm, which get together is nothing short of amazing anyway. When my first daughter was born, I remember saying that a new life seems like such a miracle, but my Gyno, kept saying, not a miracle at all, and "Now you know what causes it". Guess he was jaded about the whole experience.
