This past May I had an echo and echo stress text because my LDL cholesterol was 210 and my blood sugar was elevated. I'm 41. It was normal....could it be that because I've exercised at least 30 minutes a day for the last 15 years that it was normal?

Unless there was something unusual in addition to the elevated LDL and blood sugar, I would expect the echo and stress to be normal at your age. (I have no idea why you had an echo in the first place.) Nevertheless, exercise is good. Now about that blood sugar...

wow, wondering the same thing: a raised LDL I can't imagine why a doctor would recommend these test. Of course we are not doctors so who knows? I do think I would question the doctor though.

I know a friend who had normal Stress and echo's he had his cholesterol regulated with stantins. One day he was walking around had chest pain went to the ER they did an cardiac cath put 4 stents in said his heart was 99% plugged doctors said he was hours away from a massive heart attack probably would have killed him.
