I have a charter flight going from the west coast to Honolulu on October 28. Dogs will be allowed in the cabin. We are moving and I need to get my almost 18 year old doggie there. If you are interested, please contact me.

We have two cats, and one is 21. We flew Hawaiian Airlines from Phoenix to Honolulu to Maui. They were awesome. It was in winter they kept them in a warm building until everyone boarded. Whe we got on they told us the captain had the heat on in cargo an 72 and that they were putting them on board now. No problems. They can fly in the plane interisland.

Thumbs up Hawaiian is awesome...

I ditto Mermaids experience w/Hawaiian. We flew in two 'shifts' two months apart. One of us w/our Papillon in June and I followed w/our Yorkie the end of August. From Seattle to Hnl then on to Kona on the Big Island. Not a hitch except my flight was delayed for 3 hours due to a computer issue that blocked all flights departing from the west coast due to lack of airflight tracking. A Stewardess looked for me by name and assured me that 'Kramer' was doing fine w/the delay and was sleeping'. She even knew his name! How's that for Aloha Spirit?

Due to the delay in leaving Seattle we missed our scheduled connecting flight to the Big Island but were put on the next flight and had about a 20 minute wait. I was amazed at the customer service and caring we received.

I love our new life in Hawaii. Some trials and some worries but all-in-all...it's good to be home.

If you have all your paperwork in order all will be fine in Honolulu. Be sure to call the day before you depart to confirm your pets' paperwork is at the quarantine station. It only takes about 15 minutes once you make your way from the terminal. If you feel overwhelmed, don't worry... someone will be happy to guide you to where you need to go. Your pet(s) will be fine and well cared for.

A hui hou. Koale
